1. Be truthful about pets and reports
Do not deliberately create false or misleading Lost, Found, Seen/sighting, reunion, adoption, ownership or possible-match claims. If important information changes, update your post where reasonably possible.
2. Protect people’s privacy
Do not publish another person’s private or sensitive information without a lawful reason and appropriate permission. This includes precise home addresses, exact private locations, phone numbers, email addresses, identity documents, financial information or private conversations where disclosure is not necessary and authorised.
Use the app’s location/privacy controls instead of publishing unnecessary precise location details in free text.
3. Be respectful
Do not threaten, harass, stalk, intimidate, bully or humiliate another person, or use hateful or discriminatory abuse. Disagreement is allowed. Abuse is not.
4. No scams, fraud or impersonation
Do not impersonate another person, rescue, shelter, veterinarian, authority or organisation; create fake pet emergencies; use Lost & Found or Adoption content to obtain money or personal information dishonestly; send phishing or malware; or otherwise deceive users.
5. Protect animals
Content or conduct involving animal cruelty or illegal animal activity is prohibited. Do not use the Service to promote cruelty, encourage abandonment or abuse, facilitate illegal animal trade or knowingly place an animal in immediate danger.
6. Responsible adoption and rehoming
Adoption posts must be created in good faith. Do not knowingly conceal information to mislead another user about an animal. Users are responsible for following applicable laws and conducting appropriate checks before an adoption or rehoming.
7. Sexual exploitation and graphic content
Do not upload sexual exploitation material, prohibited sexual content or gratuitously graphic content. Distressing animal images should be shared only when genuinely necessary for a legitimate identification, safety or welfare purpose and must still comply with law and platform rules.
8. Intellectual-property rights
Only upload photographs, text and other content you own or are entitled to use. Do not knowingly infringe another person’s intellectual-property rights.
9. No spam or manipulation
Do not flood feeds or conversations with repetitive content, send unsolicited bulk messages, manipulate engagement, repeatedly post irrelevant advertising, use automated accounts to disrupt the Service, or evade blocks, rate limits or moderation controls.
10. Messaging rules
Private messaging must follow the same safety standards as public content. Do not harass or threaten, send abusive or illegal material, pressure users to reveal unnecessary private information, evade a block or use messaging for fraud.
11. AI and possible matches
AI-assisted possible matches are suggestions. Do not present an AI score as definitive proof that two posts show the same pet, that you own a pet, or that a handover should happen without further verification.
12. Reporting content and users
If you see content or behaviour that violates these Guidelines, use the in-app reporting tools where available. For an allegation that specific content is illegal, use Report illegal content.
For urgent danger, contact the appropriate emergency service or authority rather than relying solely on an in-app report.
13. Blocking
Where the Service provides one-to-one interaction, users may block another user. Do not attempt to bypass another user’s block.
14. What we may do
Depending on severity and context, we may warn a user, remove content, limit visibility, restrict features, temporarily suspend an account, permanently disable an account, preserve evidence where required for safety or legal reasons, or report matters to competent authorities where required or appropriate.
15. Moderation decisions and review
Where required by applicable law, we will provide an explanation when we restrict content or an account because we consider the content illegal or inconsistent with our rules. If you believe a moderation action was wrong, contact contact@allforallpets.com.
16. Changes
We may update these Guidelines as the Service and its risks evolve. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
